This book, though small, is one of the very best Frisco books! Lots of info in a small package.

  6. It's thin I know, have Railroads Of Kansas City by Terry Lynch. Draw back is it covers each road, & it's role in the development of KC. Frisco is Chapter 12 with a 10 page section. !4 Chapters with 15 being Misc. Just saying.............

I have that "Trackside Around St. Louis" also, and to be honest, if I had gotten a look at it ahead of time I would not have bought it. It's not that it's poorly done, but there are a LOT of odd photos that appear to have been used to fill up space. I've done one or two of those "Trackside" books, and it's sometimes hard to find enough good images to fill a volume because they are designed to use the material from only one photographer.

A bunch of Frisco books on the bay tonight. Some pretty good values. Also saw a pair of n scale E8 bodies. Have fun!

Papa Ben's Train Place in Houston has taken in some real good like new pre-owned books and are listed at www.papabens.com site on the book page. Didn't see any Frisco, but several good out of printers on Texas roads just the same. Papa Ben's is a real brick and mortar train shop and is always taking in book collections. A call or e-mail might locate the Frisco book you are seeking.

I picked up a copy of Rails, Rivalry and Romance from Amazon a few months back. It was a used book, and showed some wear on the dust jacket, but otherwise is in great shape. Needless to say, I'm a happy guy. :)

That book can be found in quantity, in un-circulated condition at Yesteryears Antique Mall in Ozark, Mo. I bought a copy for $39. You might have to ask.
