Being my first run I guess I looked a little intense, just didn't want to make any mistakes. I didn't know anyone was even taking my picture. Some visitor took it and mailed it to the museum some time later.
I was nervous the first time I ran 1522 on the main line. It was about 100 degrees out, not a breeze stirring and we were all sweating our butts off. While we were waiting to leave, I got a nervous case of the California Quick Step and butted in line in front of some kid in the Houston House. He was afraid of missing the train and I assured him that was not possible. In fact, I may have been one of the reasons they closed the Houston House. June of 1990, ran from Newburg to St. Clair.
