I have always liked the Rix poles. Especially when they offered the cross arms in green and clear plastic. You’d paint the cross arms some wood color and leave the insulators clear or green. The effect was astounding, appearing as the glass insulators of years ago. When they became no longer available, I called Rix to ask why. He told me that the green and clear plastic did not separate well from the molds and that the loss rate was too high to continue.
