Last Frisco passenger train southward from Cape Girardeau on Sept. 17, 1965

@Steven Hick There is more information to be found about the train in the photo if you search the forum for Sunnyland. This picture is a Southeast Missourian photo, the local paper in my home town of Cape Girardeau. Sharon Sanders is the Librarian for the Southeast Missourian. I have looked through all of the photos they have archived (all are digitized) and all the photosof the Sunnyland in Cape are from an oblique angle. There are some other photos of the Sunnyland scattered about in the Frisco Archive and on this forum. In the diesel era, most commonly the Sunnyland was headed up with an E8A, but sometimes with a GP7.
