If you know the videos and DVDs of FRISCO's EA7 E8, please let us know.

  1. I was impressed by the video of E8 2020 Big Red arriving at the station on YouTube with the title "Frisco Railroad F-Unit Cab Ride by Bill Wirtel".
Excuse me, but if you know of other EA7 E8 activities and videos and DVDs that appear, please let us know.

Is there a way to upload a (very) short video?

No, but you can drop a Youtube video into a post.

This isn't a YouTube. I downloaded it elsewhere. It is a very short clip of the Meteor rolling through Old Orchard (Webster Groves) around 1960.

Are you perhaps thinking of the one that Don (Frisco1522) posted on here a couple years ago?

  6. Thank you for your kindness.
Excuse me, but if you look for Frisco1522, do you have a video of the Meteor rolling through Old Orchard (Webster Groves) around 1960?
I'm sorry for your busy schedule.

I have no recollection of where this clip came from. It shows an 11-car train, five head-end, six revenue powered by two E8s. It's a little bit fuzzy, but then, so is my memory.

I put it on YouTube. It's a private link. I will delete if Don Wirth doesn't like it.

  11. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the members who cooperated with my request.
Thank you for posting on YouTube.
The video of Old Orchard MO Frisco is great.
I am impressed with how the E8AA runs powerfully while towing heavy weight passenger cars and stainless steel passenger cars.
The appearance of E8AA playing an active part is wonderful.
I'm sorry, but I'd like to watch valuable videos many times, so I'd appreciate it if you could save it as it is.

    Sincere thanks

Yep, that's the one. I downloaded it some time ago and still enjoy watching it. So many of the photos of Frisco passenger trains are from the 1965-1967 era when those trains (and the E8s) looked pretty shabby. I get that the trains were money-losers, probably in a big way, but their appearance in the last years suggests a dispiriting lapse in corporate pride.

Yep! Gregg I agree! Frisco passenger trains appearance was pretty shabby looking during the demise of passenger service.
    SAD!

The Missouri Pacific's service was circling the same drain as the Frisco's, but their trains never looked that bad--just short.

  15. I am very happy to see the video of E8 playing an active part.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the members.
The red of the E8 and the gold band of the cat whiskers at the tip are nice.
I immediately saved a valuable video.
    Thank you very much.
