    Don,
Perhaps it is time we get a moderator involved, I have recieved 100's of private messages and emails thru the "org's" PM system. MRR.com has no email feature I can find. Why do we need to go another web site to do what we can do right here?
I want to communicate with you, but it seems there is an obstacle in our path, and I do not know how, what, or where or that obstacle is.
I have given you and everyone on planet Earth my email address, believe me they know it based on the SPAM I get daily. The orgs PM system works if your settings are right. Perhaps a moderator can look at this and help us out a bit.
    Kindest regards

Hello Mr Holley, So sorry for all the problems. Don`t know what it could be. As you have said, this should be simple as ABC. Can`t put a finger on it. Anything you feel would work, I`m all for it. Doesn`t make sense that we could not relay back and forth. Hopefully there will be an answer and it may be some simple little thing just overlooked. I normally never ever have problems getting in contact with most individuals but from time to time there seems to be a problem that turns out to be just a simple error or mistake or something overlooked. Lets keep our fingers crossed and not give up. I am patient and in no hurry on all of this. I trust things will work out on us clearing the obstacle. Thank You! Don

Pardon my butting in here, Don Hartis, but check this part of the Frisco.org

    http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?threads/how-to-send-a-message.5824/

for some instructions on how to PM over this forum. It is a wonderful, privacy-protecting feature and pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. The thread does include a pdf with instructions for settings.

    Good luck.

    Don,

I received your e-mail and answered quickly from my phone. The private messaging system does not use e-mail addresses. It uses the username of a member (or members) that you wish to send a message to.

There are two simple ways to do it:

    1) In a post like this one, click on the username of the user you wish to send a message to. A menu will pop up and one of the options is "Private Message." Just follow through after clicking and you will see how that is done.

    2) Alternately, you can hover over your username in the upper right hand corner of any page and select Conversations. On the page that loads, on the left side, look for the link Start a Conversation. On the page that loads next, see the box "Reciepient Users." In that box start typing the username of a user (or users) and you will see that the software starts searching through the user database and giving you a list of possible users. When you see the member name of the member(s) that you want to send a message to, click on it.

Then, type a message (give it a subject too) and send it.

Of course, when someone answers a private message, to continue the conversation you need only reply. You don't have to start a new message, you can just go back and forth until the conversation has concluded.

I hope that clears it up.

    Charlie

Santa Clause brought me a few Yellow Boley SUV's so I managed to lower the tire profiles a bit on these. take a bit of the toy look away, but they needed some Frisco and QA&P decals, had a few old ones lying around so away we go with some new vehicles. Now we have some more Train Masters and Road Foremen out testing, maybe a Road Master too.

The truck is also a Boley, although a bit customized with a Custom Finishes crane, a short truck box. I Always try to use numbers that are important for me to remember.
Like the PUC numbers on these vehicles is my wife's birthday. I have other RR cars around here with our anniversary date, but cant remember which ones now :(:(

Neat those yellow ones was reserved for the Division Engineer or Superintendent. That is the ones where we all bent over and looked like we was working. Lucky, they didn't stick around long.

    Hi Sherrel,
Man its cold up here this year so far. We have about 5-6 inches of snow on the ground here in the Junction. But up in dem mountains, they got lots of snow.

    Yes Sir William,
I figure there is an official in everyone of those.
