The Ash Grove Lime Company's quarry at Galloway, MO used 2, GE 25 tonners (I believe) to switch cars. On most occasions, they were difficult to spot, since they worked inside the property. On a snowy day during the winter of 75-76 I caught them out front. Perhaps another LDE?

    Couple nice shots, Karl.
How do you tell the lime from the snow? :D

At least in later years, I believe at least one of these was a plymouth. I'll have to dig up my photos of the quary and see what I have of these.

(I took a whole bunch of photos of the Ozark Branch about 10 years ago as support material for a future layout - I sure wish I had been old enough to photograph the line before it was terminated at Kissick.).

    Paul,
I believe you are correct regarding the Plymouth

These replaced a couple of older units. I played on the old ones when they were parked waiting for the scrapper
