I used to visit the site often several years ago. I guess things changed or I moved again and contact fell off. I worked for the Frisco from 1970 until BN purchased us in 1980 then I stayed with them until 1987 and left the rail industry. I was pulled back in and worked for multiple contract locomotive repair facilities. I had tours of duty on the Frisco at Springfield, MO; Wichita, KS; Joplin, MO; Mobile, AL; Thayer, MO; St. Louis, MO until merger; then Galesburg, IL with the BN. I own a railroad related business and build custom load boxes and perform other rail locomotive services.

During what time frame did you work in Wichita? What type of job did you have on the Frisco? I began to hang out up there during the early 70's. Thanks
