    Default Northern Division - 1982

After much debate, Rick McClellan has decided to fast forward from 1978 to 1982. Here are some pictures.

    Just kidding by the way.

Hey Rick. Watch out your layout is getting attacked by a monster!

I wonder what an F45 would look like in O&W.

I agree with Ethan or maybe that is some sort of black and green fungus infestation of your layout.

That black and green fungus can be eradicated with a liberal application of steam!

It shouldn't take long for the Frisco to repaint those units post acquiring the BN.

The last "green weenie" locomotive to invade my layout got its comeuppance- I stripped off the paint job with 91% isopropyl alcohol. After detailing, repainting and decaling, it will be a proper Frisco engine.

Only thing I liked about BN in that era was all those SD40-2s, GP9s and GP20s of the hi-and lo-nose variety I saw & shot in Afton & Hugo.
