The top center shot of the shop and engines was taken at Lindenwood.

I know this has been closed for a while but did any of the E7 units last long enough to have to face the o/w paint scheme? As a rule I have very little RTR engines and either remove paint from purchased 2nd hand locomotives or more often then not stock up on undec engines and trade shells from good power plants I absorbe photos and have seen several options for two undec E7A units just picked up. In one it appears to have (naturally at an odd angle) a o/w second locomotive with approx same length and space in port holes making me think is not an F unit? So came to you fellows hoping for the word from the "burning bush." I realize I am slow in sharing but office is finaly cleared of old hobby and can proceed with my engine works and that is where I hope to start sharing my photos with you so they can be picked apart. I am not a perfectionist but sure like things to look believable. Happy New Year everyone, Rick

    I think I saw a photo of a O/W E8 some where with a freight train.

I don't believe any of the six Frisco E7 units ever wore the red/orange and white paint scheme. Several of the E8's did, much to the dismay (in my opinion) of anyone who saw them in o/w.

E7 SLSF 2001 did wear the red & yellow austerity "cigar band" scheme, however. That looked bad enough!

    Thumbs up Re: EA7 2000 through 2005

Thank you all. There will be enough o/w on my track with out bothering my E8s or GP7s. My intention was to stay with race horse colors from factory if can match paint. At 58 I've given up trying to use spray guns and still use spray cans with careful mask and simply take time. Have seen some brand new color photos of a just delivered E8 that was yet to show road wear and seems to have been a simple enough proper red. Willl see if can do you fellows justice

The top right picture of the TS is OKC. Does anyone know where the bottom left picture was taken?

Bottom left is Fort Smith. Also, the Texas Special engines pictured are pulling a shakedown run of streamline Meteor equipment at OKC.

I noticed it too. I though it was just my computer being dum.

Mike needs to use some thinner viscosity grease. The relays are frozen due to your current temperatures.

Looks like picture #3 was taken at Union Station, Wichita, Kansas.

Picture #3 was indeed taken at Union Station in Wichita. The shot was taken from the platform looking northwest because the restored Eaton Hotel can be seen in the background on the left.
