I was lucky enough to have a copy that was my Dad's from 1940. Good stuff in there to remember when running.

As I spot read through the instructions, I was struck with how familiar many of their rules were with the ones of today. I know that there are differences, but I recognized rules I worked with. One major difference though is the engineers of 1938 didn't have to deal with the onboard computer downloads that tattled on their rules violations:eek: like today's engineers do. As the saying goes "the more something changes, the more it stays the same" or something like that. That book is a great book to have. Thanks for posting it. Terry
