lumber yard, pulp wood, cotton in Alabama?

Hello I am looking for more info on Frisco line in Al. I have a great article about the downtown b'ham area BUT WOULD LOVE TO KNOW OF ANY smaller industries that might have used Frisco boxcars and such. I have joined a local club modeling the Alabama and or south TN in the 1940's through the 60's. they have just finished the layout and got it operational so now we are working on filling in all the free space. I would love to model a few small areas to simulate some Frisco activity. coal, lumber, pulp wood, cattle, cotton something and would love to hear from you guys. Anything would be appreciated. also if you could tell me what the most likley motive power model would have been then I can try to hunt something down. Would the Baldwin switchers that Stewart hobbies put out in the black and yellow be appropriate?
