Hey y'all. I'm a 32 year young guy that's loved the rails since I was a little bug in the Ozark Mountains foothills. I really never knew there was this many folks modeling or interested in the Frisco. I chose this line cause it ran close to home where I grew up, and turns out it ran a few miles away from where I live now. Strange coincidence or fate. It's a great railroad to model either way. I am modeling mine, not exactly like, after the line that ran between Ft. Smith, AR and Monet,MO. I actually have the route on my train sim too.

I am repainting some F9s for my layout and already have 2 gp35s for it. Plus a 2-8-2 steamer that will carry an excursion train up into the mountains to a b&b, it's only a 100 dollars a night for the ride, stay( all amenities included), and ride back. Lots and lots of plans for this one, but with limited space of course.

Well that's me and what I'm doing with my Frisco so far. I'm glad I found you guys and can't wait to meet y'all. Good day till then.

What is your locomotive roster? Could you also include the road name if it's not FRISCO.

I have two Athearn gp35's one powered and one dummy. One F7 and a F7a which I am repainting into Frisco colors. The f7's are Bachman and Athearn. If I understand correctly, yeah I don't mind if all my locos aren't Frisco. I am having pretty good success at repainting (I built alot of custum model cars when I was younger, so I have pretty good experience in doing the painting and stuff) the f7's. I hope I understood the question.

What about the steamers?

The steamer I'm gonna use is a Mantua 2-8-2 with Pennsylvania road name. I have another but it is in too bad of shape, it's a tyco 2-8-0 in the Royal Blue colors for B&O. I have the matching caboose for the Royal Blue too.
