For those of us considering camping, there appear to be a few camp grounds and a state park in the vicinity. If anyone has already investigated camping options, feel free to send me a private message.
Otherwise, I'll pursue further and post what I find if others are interested.
Best Regards,

Reminder: Sept is just around the corner. If you are planning to attend the event, please send in your registration. Pre registering will help those of us planning the event. It will also cut down on the work load for us during the event so that we are able to more fully enjoy it. So far we have only had two swap tables spoken for. If you would like to bring something to sell or just some of your stuff to display and chat about. Please contact me and let me know that you are interested. There is no charge for a swap table. This would be a great opportunity to bring your stuff so the rest of us can see what you have been up to. Remember preregistration is $20 which includes all events. Registration at the door will be $25.00.
You can mail your registration to me: Bob Wintle 2712 Morton Ave. Parsons Kansas. deadline for preregistration will be Sept. 8th. If you have already preregistered and would like a swap table please email me: bob.wintlejr@att.net
I look forward to seeing you there.

Bob,
Since the price is right for a table, save one for me. I will be bringing some of the West Springfield Shops wooden cupola caboose kits by AMB. For those who missed out on the first go 'round, we should be able to help you out.

It was my intention to attend at least the first day of the upcoming Frisco convention in Pittsburg, KS as part of a week-long visit to our son's home in Olathe, KS. However, because of some scheduling problems on his end, we made that visit this past week, and just returned home today.
Thus, I'll have to pass on attending the convention. :( I was looking forward to meeting many more frisco.org members and, as always, talking and learning about the Frisco.
Next time! I hope it is a great event and that everybody there enjoys it fully.
