Hello from a new member

I grew up in Kennett, MO. Took my first ever train trip on the River Run from Haiti, MO to Memphis when I was 6. My dad got me in the cab of a yard locomotive in Kennett. Later rode the Frisco out of Spingfield to St. Louis and also out of Kansas City. Last trip was from Springfield to KC in 1958 with a USAR until going to summer camp. I have an HO circa 1930's Frisco passenger train and 2-4-2 locomotive. Just purchased a tile with the image of the Frisco Depot Kennett, 1910. Frisco has been a part of my family history and remains my great love. Couldn't ride it often enough. Wish they would bring it back. Yeah, I know...a dreamer.

Welcome aboard, Jim! As a fellow River Division native I would love to hear any memories you have of your travels, especially on the Caruthersville Branch (I still have visions of modeling the Bragg City-Pascola-Hayti segment someday!)
