Howdy Frisco folks,

Over the last twelve years, I have kept FRISCO.org up and running with the assistance of Charlie Dix. Funding for the forum software and webhosting fees has come solely from me. As we have grown in subscribers (over 1000) and web space (well over a gigabyte of FRISCO.org related photos, texts, diagrams, and discussions), the monthly cost has risen quite a bit. In the near future, I will be retiring and continuing the same level of financial support on a fixed income will become a challenge for me. As much as I don't want to, it is in the best interest of keeping FRISCO.org up and running by asking for donations.

We added a donation feature (also called subscrption by the software) that allows you to make a donation using PAYPAL. If you don't have paypal, it is easy to set up using a credit card. You can make donations in five dollar increments. The DONATE (http://www.frisco.org/vb/payments.php) menu selection is located on the left in the Main Menu panel.

Every donation, no matter what size, will help. Thanks for supporting the FRISCO.org community by visiting the site, adding photos and discussions.

Best Regards,
mike

DOnation is on the way- I'm doing a monthly donation over 12 months, which is pretty easy for most of us to do.

Keep up the good work

Frisco Mike,
What a great job you have done and continue to do. I would like to make a donation but do NOT trust my credit card information on the internet. To make a long story short, an internet credit card transaction to a "secure" site has resulted in over seven years of fighting identity theft and has cost well over twelve thousand dollars in the process. Consequently, the ONE credit card that I now have will never be used in internet transactions.
Email me a mailing address at jmd0246@gmail.com and I will be happy to send a check forthwith.
Blessings!
Jim

A donation to the Frisco cause is well worth it for the fun, fellowship and information sharing that comes back to the members of this web group.

I was once part of the organizing group that tried to start a formal, incorporated SLSF Historical Society. We fell into all sorts of grief and chaos. I still regret that such an interesting, classy railroad has no historical society presence. But ..... this web group goes a long way toward making up for that missing link to Frisco's history.

Thanks to the organizers/administrators for their efforts!

Ken

Is the donation set up to be a one time payment or a monthly pledge? I will help, but I need to know the format. Thanks, tmfrisco

Howdy,

Donations to FRISCO.org are always a one time pledge. There is not recurring donation capability in the system.

Several folks are making small monthly donations instead of large, one time donations, and they are doing so using the donations button, once each month.

Hope this clarifies your question.

Best Regards,
mike
