The "Other" River Division.
The Black Gold left the schedule on Jan 19, 1960, but the Red River Division still operated a first class train. Number 37 was hot, had a faster speed limit than other freights on the division, and had rights over everything else... at least until it arrived at North Sherman.
The special instructions have a section on "CONELRAD", which we of the "duck and cover" generation will remember.
