I am completely blown away by this Jim! I am not patient enough to do what you do, but I can appreciate a great piece when I see one. I found this forum when I was searching for a bridge that mom was telling me and Jeff about today. I would love to go on a trip with you to the site of the old bridge and would love for you to share your research with me. I have turned into quite the history buff, mainly bridges and buildings. I will try to catch a ride to your neck of the woods next time mom comes down to see grandma and maybe we can hang out. If you make it up this way I have some cool places I can show you. The railroad plays an important part of history in Pulaski County too. Keep up the great work and I hope to hear from you soon! Email me and I will give you my number. snoopdorkydork71@gmail.com

This small bridge was on the western edge of Greenbrier which is in Bollinger county.

    Jim -

Thanks. How come the pics are titled "Dillard"?

I'm a fanatic on the area around Dillard, Mo. and the Sligo & Eastern there.

Thanks Keith. Sorry Ken, when I downloaded my camera's images that day I titled the group "Dillard" because most images were from a trip to Dillard Mill and the model bridge photos were taken late that same day. Sorry for the confusion. I didn't realize the photos also displayed their original Tag Label.

    Jim - No problem, thanks.

I spent a lot of time at "The Old Mill Lodge" (now Dillard Mill SHS) when I was a kid. Love that area & want to learn more about the Sligo & Eastern.
