My dad grew-up in Hugo, OK and he told me that sometime in the '60s their had been a wreck on a mainline (not Frisco) that caused the passenger trains to roll through Hugo. This was after passenger service in Hugo had ceased. I also knew a retired Frisco conductor who thought it might have been the KCS.

Does someone happen to know anything about this?

If you have any idea of the date, you can go to the DOT (Former ICC) railroad accident website and do a little searching/surfing and see if there was a neighbor RR nearby that had a wreck. I think that site is something like dot.gov or some such.
