Jim, I thought that too. The debris helps had a feel because it shows the direction of flow. Nice job Bill.
Hey Bill! Would you like to take a long vacation in Alabama and help build/guide building an O scale Layout? Free room and board. Planning to put up a 24 by 40 foot building next year to build it in. Robert
Very Nice, William! Anxiety is building up to see the whole layout with scenery and Frisco locos and rolling stock. I know you're having fun, I would be! John
No pics, but after traveling last weekend, I still managed to cut the frame cross boards and legs for two more open grid benches this week.
Craig, you might consider starting a thread about your layout, we have several layout build threads going at this time and we will welcome any new projects. Joe
I have Joe, just haven't updated it lately. I was encouraged to do both, though it seems a little bit repetitive.
I finally have something to contribute to workshop wednesday. I started working on building a display cabinet for my collection of locomotives. I looked at some prebuilt, but decided I could make my own and have more display space for less money. I used 1x4 white pine from lowes. I used 3' boards to mount to the studs, then I mounted 4' boards to that. I used some scrap pieces to make hanger brackets to mount the 4' sections. I got half way up before I had to stop last night.
Tonight, I finished putting up shelves and got the collection on display. To my surprise, I completely filled all 8 shelves and have 4 left setting on the layout. I've got pictures of the building process, and of the full case.
Ethan, great job on the Showcase!!! You have quite the collection of locomotives, all are from connecting railroads for Frisco. How many locomotives do you have? Joe
Finally have the finished product, might add some trees, but I put in ripples on the water, I may make them bigger. Last photo's on this section. Thanks for all the reviews.
That's a mighty fine job you did Bill!!! Makes me want to go swimming and fishing. Was the bridge modelled after a favorite spot? Joe
