Does anyone know the most likely color of a wooden combine used for branchline service in the 1920s? I'm using a Bachmann old time combine which looks close to the one in my period photo of a mixed train but I don't have any idea what color it might have been. Thanks for any info.

Thank you, Frisco Kidd! I painted mine Pullman green so I guess it will be fine. The era I model is challenging to say the least. Especially an obscure branchline. I'm ready to put the finishing touches on my Greenbrier module then I'll build a pexiglass cover for it and display it in the Bollinger County musuem later this summer(hopefully). Thanks again for the photos.

Jim, do you have a particular date for when the Greenbriar display might go up?

I'm hoping to make a trip to visit grandparents in Chaffee and Crump before too long. If the timing is right, a side trip to Marble Hill will certainly be made!

    Best Regards,
