Now that I've started building there seems to be a new challenge everday. Yesterday afternoon it was opening up code 83 rail joiners so they will slip on to track. Made a tool to help. Today it is wiring a Peco Code 83 Insulfrog turnout for DCC.

This DCC stuff is new to me, so bare with me. I thought you just needed to make sure you had current in all track sections, so I was going to solder feeder wires on each rail, ie six. But in the instructions with the turnout there are incomprehensable instructions having you clip wires on the underside of the turnout and adding insulated joiners on one end. I don't understand any of this. Has anyone used these and can someone explain it to me.
