I purchased one of the two-layer carts from Harbor Freight to make this cart for wiring and electrical work on the layout. I used a step bit to drill holes in the corner supports that would fit some lengths of 1/2" electrical conduit to serve as wire reel holders. Having all the heavier wire organized and easy to pull is very desirable if one has to work by oneself. The upper tray holds meters, electrical tools, labels, and wire nuts in see-through containers. The lower tray holds some two bundles of 14-2 and 12-2 for heavier AC work, my USB Digital Storage Oscilloscope, and some containers with silica sand and HO scale coal.
