I was provided a drawn map of the Winkler Branch/Dent-Phelps Railroad, and I wanted to share it with you. Thanks, Dick Elgin! The Dent-Phelps Railroad is where it all started for me. As a kid growing up in Salem, I knew when to start watching for the railroad bed when my parents drove to St. James. I’ve traced the bed, and at least one potential spur (visible on both sides of 68 on the deep curve south of Clinton) and I saw there wasn’t a thread on this particular branch. Enjoy the map!
