Lee Buffington's letter on page 4 of FMIG NL 35 states that the 300-class engines remaining in 1929 were all on the Salem Branch and maintained at the Salem, MO roundhouse. The photograph collection in the St. James Library in St. James, MO includes several of them. You will also want to download the Mogul special issue 21.
