On the western side of the Lindenwood Yards, the Frisco crosses over the River Des Peres and Wellington Avenue / Wabash Avenue underpass.

The river at this point is largely a storm water drainage canal. Immediately to the south of the 4 deck plate girders span, 3 track bridge is a natural gas transmission line and Interstate Highway 44 (I-44). Bridge 7.3 is made up of three 54'-0" spans, six 95'-0" spans set in two sequential span pairs and three 98'-0" spans. The bridge was fabricated in 1933.

The northernmost track used to lead to the Terminal Railroad Association (TRRA) Belt Line around the western edge of Saint Louis. On the western side of the bridge is Southeastern Junction, where the St. Louis Subdivision of the River Division splits from the Rolla Subdivision main line to Oklahoma.

Assuming that the lettering is the same for both sides of the bridge, on the left is a large "FRISCO LINES" coonskin logo. The top line on the right reads "TEXAS-OKLAHOMA AND THE SOUTHWEST" while the bottom line reads "MEMPHIS-BIRMINGHAM AND THE SOUTHEAST".
