I am trying to locate photographs of these two Frisco locations.

The Victoria, TX passenger depot was opened in 1913, along with a separate freight depot, but photographs of both are scarce.

In February, 1913, Frisco announced that the contract for three buildings in Vanderbilt, TX had been let to Globe Construction of St. Louis.

    The one-story buildings were a lunch room, service room, and dormitory. Sizes were 24' x 71', 18' x 44', and 40' x 44', respectively.

    B. F. Yoakum intended for Fred Harvey to operate the lunchroom, but that relationship did not materialize. The buildings evidently were built, though, because they were mentioned in a 1937 Missouri Pacific report to Congress.

I realize Frisco did not hang onto its Texas lines past the recession of 1913, so these may also be referred to as Missouri Pacific locations.

Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Fred

    Fred,

I am a little behind on this reply, but the best possible source I can think of are the archived Frisco Employee magazines at the Springfield, MO Springfield-Greene County Library website.

    https://thelibrary.org/lochist/frisco/magazines/magazines.cfm

It might take some parsing of the individual issues to see if you can turn anything up.

    Best Regards,
