I've been posting here for a while and I still can't figure out how to neatly/correctly post pics without starting a new post or running the attachments into a long string all together.

Can I attach several groups of photos each with their own description all in the same post?

    Thanks.

Sure. You can upload all of your images into your albums here on frisco.org.

All you have to do is go to the Media section http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?media/

Click on the Add Media button and then select An Album, click on the pull down next to choose an album and select Create an album.

Thanks Charlie. I don't think I'm trying to create an album I'm just trying to add pics to my posts in an organized fashion. It's a challenge to say the least.

That's what I am saying. Upload the pics to an album and then you can post them from there.

Alternately, you can upload all of them as attachments. If you don't like the "run together" look, you can edit those using the editor to move them around and insert text. As I said, I can do screenshots if you like. I can't get that done tonight but in a day or two I could get to it.

Don't get me wrong. I love Frisco.org. I'm just saying, that uploading pics to the site is clumbsy at best. You always have to rearrange the photos in order, space them and make sure your cursor is in the correct spot or they'll insert themselves where ever. I haven't even tried the caption thing. I think the management would tie me up and throw me on the tracks near Springfield and leave me for the trains or buzzards if I did that. LOL...

The image uploading system is the best I've ever seen in any forum software. There is a lot that can be done with it and it is easy. It just takes a few minutes to learn. I could do a comprehensive video tutorial if I had a little time to work on it. It's a case where you don't know what can be done with it until you see it. It really works very well.

I'm sure it's great once you get use to it but I've always had some issues trying to upload to this forum.

I tried moving/dragging the thumbnails around in the editor but they just disappeared. I finally acheived what I was trying to in my Highline post but it was fairly tedious and I'm sure there is an easier way.

I'll try to post some helpful hints when I get time. Time is always short, unfortunately.
