The Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis Historical and Technical Society will have its annual meeting Saturday, August 1 at 6 PM to 9:30 according to the notice I received today. It will be held in the Maryland Room of the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis. The speaker will be Mr. Patrick Hiatte talking about "The Frisco in St. Louis - A Personal Journey." The notice indicates Mr. Hiatte joined Frisco in 1974 as Public-Relations-Advertising Representative and retired from BNSF in 2009. It further says, "His program highlights Frisco's suburban service, passenger and freight service and glimpses of life at Lindenwood Yard." My admission as a member is $10.00 and I plan to send it along with my name, address and phone number to TRRA Historical Society, PO Box 1688, St. Louis, MO 63188-1688. (The Society sent me a form requesting that information as well as the number of guests at $10.00 each.)
