The first tornado to make it's way down the valley hit the Newburg roundhouse but other than ripping the roof off the building, did little other damage.

Sky still looks gray - watch out for more storms!

Get that diesel in out of the bad weather!

Yeah, that was a close one.

The tornado may not have done much damage, but it had the power to keenly place that strange object upright on the rails and paint it. Tornadoes are known for displacing tons of garbage without damage, but the perfect FRISCO paint job is a first.

I guess the Newburg twister was no exception, but a unique exception! Frisco crews will only have to bring in the big steam hook to remove the foreign entity to restore full STEAM service to the engine facility. :p

    Don,

Could you post pictures of your 4500 and 4502?

    Two different paint schemes, right?

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Tom,

    I don't have a 4502.

    Just 4500, 4503 and 4524.

    I think you're seeing the 4402.

    What engine is the 728?

The tender looks like a modified Mantua. Sorry if that insults.

Can't tell if it's brass or not.

Tender is brass thank you very much.

The model started out as a PFM NP 4-6-0 before I got it in my hands.

Sure did a nice job of cleaning the floor.

Must have sucked up all the parts, tools, and equipment.

Not even a shop rag or coffee cup left!
