Howdy folks, Did the Frisco post stock train schedules in regular timetables or were they an extra? Have fun, mike c
I wouldn't anticipate finding "stock trains" in the ETTs, as that would imply a "unit train"; a foreign concept until relatively recent history. Karl can correct me if I'm wrong, but even if a whole train may have been made up of stock cars, they would probably be run as a first or second section of a regular scheduled train. I don't believe they would be an extra due to the "perishable" nature of their cargo.
Here are two quick ETT finds; spend some time looking through the ETT’s. Secondly, search the FEM’s for “stock train” or cattle “. Gotta go. Time for a bike ride. http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index....vision-supplement-ett-24a-august-7-1932.9992/ Train 36 Between Springfield & Lindenwood Train 58
