    Hello,

I want to talk about The Frisco RR and The ES&NA RR. The St. Louis & San Francisco RR made a banch line from Monett, Mo., down to Seligman, Mo., and down to Ft. Smith, Ark. In 1880 The ES RR was started, which ran from Seligman, Mo., to Eureka Springs, Ark., an 18 miles long line, with help from The Frisco RR. In 1900 The ES RR change name to The St. Louis & North Arkansas RR, which continue the line to Harrison, Ark. In 1906 The St. Louis & North Arkansas change name to The Missouri & North Arkansas RR, which continue the line to Helena, Ark., and continue the line up The Frisco RR to Wayne, Mo., banch off and started up to Neosho, Mo, and continue on The KCS RR to Joplin, Mo. In 1935 The M&NA RR change name to The Missouri & Arkansas RR, which continue to ran on the same line up to 1948. In 1948 The M&A RR pulled out and the line was abandon from Joplin, Mo., over The KCS RR, to Neosho, Mo., to Wayne, Mo., over The Frisco Line to Seligman, Mo., and from Seligman, Mo. to Eureka Springs, Ark., and from Eureka Springs to Helena, Ark. But in 1950 parts of the line was save from Seligman, Mo., to Harrison, Ark., and it was called The Arkansas & Ozarks RR, which ran over the line from Seligman, Mo., to Harrison, Ark., with two banch line going to Eureka Springs and Berryville, Ark. In 1960's The A&O RR pulled out and the line was pulled up from Seligman, Mo., to Harrison, Ark.
All of these RR's mention here share The Frisco Depot in Seligman, Mo., and The Frisco Depot in Wayne, Mo., But not all RR share The Depot at the two towns. Along with sharing the Depot they also share the line From Seligman, Mo., to Wayne, Mo., on The Frisco RR and The KCS RR from Neosho, Mo., to Joplin, Mo.

In 1980 a new RR came into Eureka Springs, Ark., called The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railroad. This RR has no connecting with The Frisco RR, which is only 18 miles from Seligman, Mo. But The ES&NA RR does share an old Frisco Turntable from Ft. Smith, Ark., and along with other RR's equipments.

    More to come.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

The North Arkansas Line, which was 369 miles long, including trackages rights over The Frisco RR from Seligman, Mo., to Wayne, Mo., and The KCS RR from Neosho, Mo., to Joplin, Mo. The North Arkansas Line also share The Frisco RR Depots, both at Seligman, Mo., and Wayne, Mo.
The miles over The Frisco RR from Seligman to Wayne, Mo., is unknown (at this time) and the miles over The KCS RR from Neosho to Joplin, Mo., is also unknown (at this time).

The First Locomotive on The ES RR in 1880 was an old Frisco Steam Locomotive, which was supplied from The Frisco RR for the tracklaying operation. This Locomotive is a heavy consoildation-type locomotive built by Pittsburgh Locomotive Works. This Locomotive was No.1 for The ES RR, The first locomotive to arrive in Eureka Springs, Ark., in 1882.

    Hello,

The information about The ES RR No.1 is incorrect, dues to I forgot to look up the information. The ES RR No. 1 was built/purchased new for The ES RR, 1882. Retired in 1900. Its boiler later used for stationary generation at The ES Shops.

The Second Locomotive for The ES RR was an Roger built 4-4-0 No. 2. Purchased new 1883, built new in 1883, retired in 1915.

    Hello,

The Frisco RR, that ran in Seligman, Mo., is no more. The RR is known as The A&M RR, The Arkansas & Missouri Railroad. Of course I think everyone here know about this.

The ES&NA RR, The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railroad, is formly The Scott & Bearskin Lake Railroad that was near Scott, Ark. In 1979 Robert (Bob) Dortch, Jr., closed The S&BSL RR after his father die, Robert (Bob) Dortch, Jr., began moved the whole RR to Eureka Springs, Ark., where he renamed its to The ES&NA RR. In 1980 he began operating The ES&NA RR, all Locomotives, Rolling Stocks, tracks, ties, etc., were all from The S&BSL RR. For more information about The Scott & Bearskin Lake Railroad or more information about The ES&NA RR, please visit this following website http://www.savingesnarailroad.com.

Note: I can understand that no one else has even posted on this Thread, I can understand that everyone here does not really care about The ES&NA RR. I just know the everyone here care about The Frisco RR. But for me The ES&NA RR is my passion.
    :End Note.
