Thayer, MO depot. Thayer, MO in 2009 is still a very active yard for the BNSF. I was surprised to see about 30 cars parked at their employee depot, and equipment everywhere. I was able to get to some shots of the yard, where the depot was, and where the new one stands. I also came across a caboose at a McDonalds in town. It is marked BN 12068 and has a little Frisco Museum on the inside.
Thayer, MO depot. This is the Armco metal modular component depot for Frisco employees. You can just see a Frisco diesel to far left. Photograph dated 1970s.
