Guys, I have a project for you plastic steam bashers out there. I purchase a couple of Broadway Limited Imports heavy Mikado's with the intention of turning them into Frisco 4100's. I might do one later on but I'll never get to both. The engine is from their Blue Line series and equipped with sound and DCC ready. The engine is new in the box, however there is one difference is this and a new engine, the tender has been swapped out with a BLI six axle oil tender. The tender is very similar to that of the 1500/4100 class, just a little long but would be a simple project to shorten if desired. For those who are unfamiliar with BLI engines they run well and have very nice sound. Wholesale Trains has the engine listed for $215, I would take $140 plus shipping if anybodies interested.
