The Train Show in Springfield, MO was a big success with many operating displays, a lot of swap tables and a whole lot of people showed up. The #1 TV station came by the house during the layout tour and then reported the following on their 10 pm news. Here is a brief glimpse of my railroad. Ron: This is awesome. I'm really happy for you that you received this kind of coverage and recognition.
Looking good Ron! Sorry I was not able to come down to Springfield to the OMRA meet this year - had a new granddaughter arrive last week in Olathe, KS that took higher priority! See you next year. Ken Wulfert
Ron, Congratulations! Thank you for sharing. Great stuff. Good to see you, Pat and Jeff as hosts and positive roll models. Hopefully your efforts will draw more folks into this great hobby. Exposure to operations will present them an opportunity to go far beyond the "train set" and focus their modeling efforts on a rewarding, life long hobby. Best of all folks build wonderful friendships with terrific people. Life does not get better than this! Thanks again for sharing! Hope this helps. Thanks! Mark
Ron, Congratulations and thanks for opening your railroad for the layout tour. I enjoyed the train show, your layout and Louis' N scale layout too. Both look like they would be fun to operate. Nicely done! Dale Rush Carthage, MO
