    Frisco Colleagues,

One more from the sales bin as I downsize to focus on my pre-1920 collection.

I have this Proto 2000 Fairbanks-Morse H10-44 locomotive for sale. It has a very old QSI(?) decoder in it (with sound), which you would no doubt want to replace. The box includes some cab shade and builder plate details that are not installed. I used this loco a bit on the original "Crawford and Cherokee" layout, but I think it is much better suited to someone with a yard to work (or industry area?).

Anyhow, I would love to send this guy to Steve and Keith for some substantial decoder tune up and weathering, but that is just not in the cards right now.

I would take $75 plus actual shipping for the model. If for some reason it has serious mechanical problems, I'll gladly refund the buyer. The last time I used it on my layout, it was working OK, but that old QSI decoder is a bit flaky.

Message me if you are interested. If you are really interested and concerned about it operating, I'll try it out on my layout and post a video.....

    -Bob T.

If I didn't already have more H10-44s than I need (8), I would spring for this one and make it good and proper with Tsunami 2 sound and a much better speaker.

    Friends,

A quick follow up...I tested this guy today, setting up two sections of the layout. It seems to be working perfectly (with sound) on my DCC system.

So, last call! If no interest, I'll be moving this one over to eBay this weekend (Oct 9th).

    Take Care All,

    -Bob T.

A fine looking locomotive. I bet sounded like sewing machine when running. I wish I could use it. But a bit out of my pervue.
