From Richard Crabtree on Frisco Rails Across Missouri:
Here we see **Frisco No. 1017 4-6-2 Pacific Class** Built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1910 leaving the Frisco Depot at **Tower Grove in St. Louis Missouri** with "***The Sunnyland***" to Memphis in the early 1940s Photo by C. E. Prusia, Don Wirth Collection

    Karl Brand:
The Pacific TYPE locomotive has the northbound Sunnyland, train 808, in tow at Grand Ave and will soon arrive at St Louis Union Station.

In the 1930s, the Sunnyland had a through sleeper to Florida and an Observation lounge car.

There was once a St Louis-B’ham 12-1 Pullman, which disappeared after the ’29 season.

Looks like it had plenty of head end business.
