I am wondering, now that I have searched the forum, What year did the FRISCO start using lighted Signals i. e. Semaphores etc. I am modeling FRISCO during the years 1941 to 1950. and I would like to use operating signals, but I wanna stay prototypical. Any help with this would be great! Thanks.
The Frisco's first installation of ABS (upper quadrant semaphores, US&S) occurred during 1909 and was complete by 1910. The territory covered by this initial installation included St Louis to Monett, KC to Thayer, and Amory to Birmingham. The work started out of Kansas City. Your 1941-1950 era will include, APBS, OBS, and CTC systems.
