Our dear Frisco friend Bob Hoover (friscofriend), passed away last night about 11:40 pm. He had been struggling the past few months from the debilitating effects of syringomyelia. He was a true Frisco fan and had been instrumental in getting model manufacturers like Atlas, Athearn and Intermountain to support us with introductions of Frisco models, and getting the details as close to accurate as possible. He will be missed by all that he befriended. When I get word as to arrangements for funeral, etc. I will post them. His wife Ronda, was very supportive of his hobby interest. The home address for cards is: Ronda Hoover 2705 Winstead Ct Wichita, KS 67226

I'm sad to hear about Bob's passing. I remember him enjoying the KC Frisco convention. Comforting thoughts to his family and many friends.
Very sad news. I did not know BOB except through the website, but I appreciate his work and friendship to all of you.
How very sad to hear. Bob's clinic on the circus train at the 2010 convention still resonates as the best I have seen. His contributions will be missed. Please pass condolences to his family. ~mike

Sad news indeed. I enjoyed talking to Bob at the Frisco gatherings, as well as the LDOPS meetings in Tulsa. A great fellow all around. My condolences and prayers to Ronda, their family, and all of Bob's friends in and out of railroading.
Keith, darnit again. Please pass along our/my condolences to Ms. Hoover. Another Friscoite that I really regret not having gotten to meet. Dang it. Thanks for the heads up, Paul. Didn't know Jerry well but had seen his name around these parts quite often.
