A Dan Batson, of Brighton Mo, 417-894-2682, has the bulk of Ron's HO scale equipment. A hundred or so cars, a lot of Frisco modern cars and a dozen or so engines. Most are O&W, but some are B&Y, and some are equipped with Rail Command.

Don't expect any bargains though. Honest prices, just no deep deals. He hasn't had the chance to get anything priced and a lot of equipment is looses on a flat with it's box in another container.

I made a run down to him on Saturday and picked up some stuff and he allowed me to post this here.

Some of the stuff is listed on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/groups/537531206942346 Ozarks Model Train Sale.

FYI - One must have a Facebook account to view the information. That counts many of us out.

It would be more appropriate to post a simple Word, PDF or other "universal" type file / list so anyone could view the information. That way one would not have to make your personal information available on another web site for access by or sale to others.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

I would agree Mark, but I'm just a messenger.

Oh, I guess I can copy and paste, but then there a ton of photos. Not sure of flooding this forum with them.

I messaged the seller with a question on what was available, and he replied, so I asked for price and shipping. Crickets since then. Flakey facebook sellers are getting on my nerves.

As I mentioned he hadn't priced everything when I met with him. But then, it's his loss.

I've contacted Dan a couple times. He can take a while to respond. I get the impression he's trying to do this around his job and family life, so we'll have to be patient with him.

All right, I’ll give him some more time.

I know Dan Batson pretty well and have been to his property. He owns a surplus equipment business, selling all kinds of stuff including used medical equipment, electronics, office furniture and so on. He was a good friend of Ron Williams' and I believe that he is trying to sell the stuff for Ron's wife, Joan. He is a very busy guy with a heart of gold.

Agree with Keith. Dan is a good guy and can be trusted.
