I have not seen this image, nice picture, thanks for sharing. I cant say that I have ever read about mixed trains, doesnt mean it didnt happen. Passenger service over the QA&P was gone fairly early, there just wasnt enough ridership to ever really make it profitable for them. Between Quanah and Foydada there was less than 7000 people, mostly dirt poor farmers and ranchers. My family was in the former group, not the later.
