Could have just about printed this on an index card! Interesting that they used a drawing of an E7 in with the older style cat whiskers scheme (FR-P4b by Mike Condren's "Paint Shop" classification; http://www.cbu.edu/~mcondren/Frisco_PaintShop_Es.htm. Hoping someone would please scan and post a copy of the last PTT. It is not attached or linked to this thread. Also, after checking a copy is not currently in the Historical, Operations, Timetables, Public Timetables folder. Hope this helps. Thanks! Mark
Sporting a nose shot of an EA-7, the last PTT ever was published during August 1967. During December 1966, the Frisco announced that it would seek permission from the ICC to discontinue its remaining passenger service. Following the Frisco’s announcement, the ICC ordered the Frisco to maintain its service for 4 months pending hearings. The ICC conducted hearings with regard to St. Louis - Oklahoma City passenger service during January. On April 28, 1967, the ICC gave its permission to discontinue No 1 and No 2, the Oklahoman, which made their last runs on May 13, 1967. New ETT’s were issued May 28, 1967, but a new PTT didn’t appear until August. I believe that the August PTT was the only timecard issued between May and December of 1967.
Karl, Thank you so much for the quick and detailed response. The post of the Public Timetable schedule marks an important point in Frisco's history. Again thank you for your knowledge and willingness to always assist. Hope this helps. Thanks! Mark
