    All,

On a recent trip to Arkansas to explore the Algoa branch I found what could possibly be the Amagon depot.

Maybe someone who has building plans could confirm this as I have no knowledge in this area. The little building is standing close to where the tracks used lay to and it has that railroady look to it. I could only get photos of the north, west and south sides as a truck was parked next the east side.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Roger

  2. Could you please post the photographs you took of the depot?

This could help identify the building as well.

Maybe when I am near that part of the state I can check.

I have been trying to upload the photographs since Saturday.

I click insert image, basic uploader, browse, choose a picture, click upload, then it looks like it is uploading, then it finishes and nothing.

    Anybody else having problems?

I will gladly send anyone the photos in an email to post since I am having so many problems.

    Thanks Keith,

It keeps getting stuck between line 12-13 on the change attachment guide.

So I copied them, sent them to photoshop and cropped them from 5.39 MB to around 800 KB and they uploaded fine.

I will repost the message with the photographs.

    Thanks for all your help!

    Roger

Mike Condren's Frisco website has floorplans of a number of Frisco depots.

    Please see the following link.

    http://condrenrails.com/Frisco/Station Floor Plans/index.html

In the case of both Algoa, AR and Amagon, AR, the depots are shown as being car bodies.

This suggests that the original depots had been destroyed, probably by fire.

The building pictured does indeed have a railroad appearance.

    Perhaps a handcar shed?

    Bill
