Just wondering if anyone has thoughts of going to Portland this August. I am giving it some thoughts, I would like to see that area again. I was Roadmaster their for several years. Its about as great a place for modeling ideas as any where, real neat bridges. We will see?
No. I went to the last one and had a blast. Most likely not on any current tour, but the last time we took a tour of the Weyerhaeuser plant and railroad operations. If it still exists, they operated over a Whipple truss bridge - http://bridgehunter.com/or/lane/hayden/ Really neat old bridge, but it would be an absolute biotch to scratch build.
