I got word that our dear friend, Pat Hiatte had been admitted to the hospital. This message came this morning from the Mexico Train Works club: "On behalf of Pat Hiatte and the members of the Mexico Train Works, I am sad to announce that Pat is in the hospital after experiencing some serious medical problems. As you know Pat is instrumental in the planning and organization of our op sessions and because of his absence, we will not be able to host this month's operating session. Please keep Pat and Sandy in your prayers as he starts on his road to recovery. "
I left a message at their home letting them know we are thinking of and praying for them and asked for an update, but have not gotten a return call.
Played N scale trains with Pat in February, 2019 in the Kansas City area. He seems to have recovered from his recent medical problems... quite a tale, though.
