Pawnee Oklahoma depot 1961 and a nice view of Perry Subdivision pole line. I borrowed these from that dreaded online auction site. Edit 1/27/2024: In the first image note the tram track dock and ramp on the house track Just beyond the dock is a coal shed with a sloping roof to the rear. To its left is a section tool, hand or motor care house. Both of these structures are painted gray. At the depot note the doll pole mounted train order signal. The doll pole mounting indicates there is an intervening track that separates it from the track it governs. In this case the track closest to the depot is a siding and the main is the next track over. On the platform adjacent to the depot is a yellow painted baggage cart. The baggage cart, gray buildings and the automobiles in the distance coupled together help establish the approximate date of the photograph as having been taken in the late 1950s. In the second photograph note the yellow and the red baggage carts. Near the red cart is a section gang push cart. On the end of the depot is a freight and parcel dock. The depot west end freight room has a raised floor as evidenced by the elevated trackside and end rolling doors. The tracks in this run diagonally from the northeast to the southwest. Views are looking east. Added photograph narratives. MKD
