Does anyone have info on the Frisco passenger car that was once located near the main line in Republic, MO? I was told at the NW Arkansas Train Show last weekend that this car the diner "Tulsa". According to this source, the owner was told to remove the car by the city and it was ultimately scrapped about 8 years ago.

    Can anyone confirm?

I don't know what has happened to the car, but I took pictures of it November 24th 2001.

The car was definitely either "Tulsa" or Oklahoma City", but I have seen mixed information about which car was in Republic and which one was at the museum in Springfield. The two cars were sisters, both originally built as diner-observations for the Meteor and then rebuilt for mid-train service.

Then it is the Tulsa that is at Springfield... I remember a website that dealt with the car on which they talked of its service on the New Georgia.
