eBay always has those decals. Do a search for "Frisco", HO Scale, Items and descriptions, and then you can go to decals...

Here are some Texas Special decals: http://www.ebay.com/itm/HO-scale-ra...910209?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item4842e46741 This seller ("Cantonchick" usually has several to offer. Click "See sellers oter items."

Edit: These decal sets are the ones furnished with the Hallmark Texas Special and Meteor import brass trains. The seller sells for the widow of the late Dean Hale, Texas railfan and modeler and advisor to Hall's hobby shop in Dallas (Who imported the trains). These decals are from the inventory of the shop when it closed.

You can usually get them from Tom at oddballsdecals.com but right now he has printer difficulty and isn't able to ship any orders.

Here's something I could offer to anyone in frisco.org who is interested.

Per the pic, I have one set each of Walthers decal sets #68-80 (Katy) and #68-81 (Frisco), both HO scale, for the Texas Special lightweight passenger cars. I bought these from Walthers (Terminal Hobby) when visiting Milwaukee years ago when they were essentially getting out of the decal business and were selling off their considerable inventory. I have several other of their former Frisco, and Katy, decal sets.

Both packs are in their original envelope, but I did open them after I got them to have a look. But, nothing has been used or disturbed, and they have been stored tightly in my decal drawer since I've had them.

However, bear in mind, these are older sets, so you will need to be gentle when cutting them apart, and when sliding them off the paper backing. I would recommend applying a coat of Microscale Liquid Decal Film (460-177, $3) via airbrush on them before using to help them out.

You can have both sets for $5.00. I'll cover shipping cost in a secure envelope.

Oh, as you can see, there is no "Ash Fork" name. That was not a streamlined Texas Special name.

Let me know via PM to Meteor910, or via e-mail to meteor910@mindspring.com, if interested.

I am working on a lightweight River-series Frisco sleeping car and need the red car name decals (James River, Niangua River, etc.) If it will make it easier I don't need the road name or the numbers, just the car name. I am guessing this will have to be from an old Walthers set as Champ never made a Frisco set in red, only a TEXAS SPECIAL. To grease the skids, I have a complete set of Champ TEXAS SPECIAL decals I am willing to trade. The Oddball set is no good for this because it does not have the right car names for lightweight sleepers. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate hearing, and thanks!
