Had a small op session here this long weekend, and when I say small, I mean I was the only one there. But had a little fun and ran a few trains.

The first two photographs look really great!

Unfortunately, absolutely lost interest after the first two photos.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

Now that’s my kind of operating session. Tom, you always have the most impressive diesel models. And the everyday less modeled aspect is always well represented in your work. Very nice.

Funny Tom, they used to call me Dolittle Jackson, the man of many names.

    BN green????!!!

    :ROFLMAO:

Ah well, at least it's a boat. Boats are cool.

I do have some pretty impressive memories of BN boats handling coal trains on the KCS through my neck of the woods back in '79-84. In fact, those coal trains off the BN helped save the KCS's butt at the time, and helped them climb out of the financial calamity they self-inflicted during the early 70s.

Thanks for the comments everybody. I had an idea the Green would spark something up :D
I will try to do better next time Mark.
Thanks Steve, I have modeled open doors before. These newer locos with the cast weights that fill up the body It is getting harder to do LOL.
Always great to hear from you Bill!
Jim, I do always look fwd to your comments, I been in some kind of colossal modeling funk lately. Need to break out of it.
Andre, I have air tested many consist with those Boats in them, they sure beat them things for a long time huh? I too remember seeing those KCS white SD's coming across the pit in alliance, we called them the white elephants, there was a pretty good chance they were DIC. Things sure turned around when we started seeing the KCS SD50/60's, those were good locos.
