Oklahoma City Cotton Compress
Great looking card you got there, I remember those coming into Springfield.
We had a cotton fire in a boxcar, bout 1972, I was tasked with staying with the bales and putting soapy water on anywhere that smoked, easy work, I fell asleep about 5 am and the Roadmaster Dobbs woke me up, he never said anything but I looked at him with a different attitude from then on.
Karl, what city did you live in California? Cynthia, my wife, is from Long Beach, born and raised. We meet in Tulsa when she was here on vacation to see her mom who I worked with and her mom introduced us. It was love at first sight, we married a year later.
